Page statistics, without cookies

What is sent

A small script sends page views and a few events to PostHog Cloud EU.

Processor

PostHog processes them for us.

Events

Events include a calendar download, or a tool result in broad bands such as a graduation year.

Cookies

It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device.

Identifier

It uses a random identifier that lasts one page view.

Profiles

No profile of you is kept.

Global Privacy Control

Nothing is sent if your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal.

IP addresses

We have asked PostHog to discard IP addresses.

Lawful basis

Legitimate interests, in knowing which pages are useful.

The balance

The balance favours you: nothing identifies you or follows you between pages.

Server logs

Our host, Railway, keeps request logs to run the site securely.

What they record

  • the address requested;
  • the time;
  • your IP address.

How long it is kept

Page statistics

For the retention period set in the PostHog project, confirmed here before launch.

Server logs

Railway keeps logs for 7 days or 30 days, depending on the service level the site runs on.

That service level is confirmed here before launch.

Emails

Deleted 24 months after the last message.

Exceptions

They are kept longer only if a correction or a complaint needs them.

Hosting

PostHog

PostHog Cloud EU data is hosted on servers in Frankfurt.

Railway

Railway runs the site in the region chosen for the service, which is confirmed here before launch.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law

You may:

  • ask for a copy of your data;
  • ask us to correct, delete or restrict it;
  • object to its use.
